Yet it could be hasty to talk about my new team. I got the foothold in the last week of the training camp in Turkey. What I can tell is that the club well pays attention to the team and their high-level trainings. All are engaged with the work as professionals" -- New transfer Danijel Subotic says. He adds the progress of the football in Azerbaijan for the last 10 years is well evident and it started to be known as well as in Europe. The forward, acting at the  training camp in Zalzburg of Austria, adds:

"The football and clubs of Azerbaijan got well progressed in the last 10 years as it was not the case before when Europe were unaware of the football and clubs in this country. But now we can talk of the progress especially about Gabala".

Subotic goes on with the atmosphere in the team, and about the training operations, as well as the targets:

"I feel well about all the players. The accepted me really well since the first day. I got only good feelings about the team during my this short time with the club.

I know head coach Yuri Semin even when I played for Ukraine. I know his nature well as a good coach, and I really understand what he needs us to do. The preparations are going well. We will be in our best of physical and technical form before the league starts. I know also the targets well for what I choose Gabala indeed. I think we will be able to make these. We really have to be a strong team with all the 11 players to reach up to the result we need".
