Gabala’s U19 coach Famil Khalilov talks for a post-match reaction right after the 1:1 draw against APOEL (Cyprus) in the first tie within the first round of the UEFA Youth Champions Path. The skipper says:

“What we wanted about the away match was just to score. I congratulate my footballers after a hard struggle over the full time. The away goal puts the lead on our side. But it’s not the all yet and we are targeting to play better in Gabala to win the round.

Our team started to the game a bit anxious, but they gave it out gradually going more into the match.

We failed on our some scoring occasions. But anyway I congratulate the team again for a good show”.
