Gabala”s head coach Yuri Semin talks right after the 2:1 victory over Neftchi, saying:

"First, we worked to fortify our high level on the league table. The victory makes a vital role on our confidence boosting. The match run warmly by mutual attacks and balanced performance. Both teams were too close to taking the victory but it was Gabala being able to gain this.

We are still much away from the cup final and are expected another league match on 7th May, so I thing on this fixture yet. We have met the opponent for 4 times this season and we have nothing to keep in secret. It is going to be a cracking game and Gabala only need fans to fill into the stadium.

I have had no talks with the Gabala administration on my go from the club. My dieal with Gabala is still going on under normal relationships".
