Gabala”s midfielder Elvin Jamalov is back to the Antalya training camp in Turkey after a short break for his injury in the 1st half of the season. He talks to gabalafc.az on his current condition:
“I was injured after the 18th tour match against Qarabagh. During the winter break, I though pains would go away, but it didn”t after 3 weeks, during the early 3 days of the Antalya camp. The team physician suggested being off the pitch for 4 to 5 days. Now I am ready to restart to individual preparations.
We are targeting to keep Gabala”s successful run of the last season going on also this year. We are just 10 points behind leader side Qarabagh on the league table. I am convinced people will see quite different Gabala in 2016. The team will try and remove this difference. I want to enjoy a title of champion as a student from the Gabala Footbll Academy”.
Jamalov appeared in 57 events for Gabala including 47 Premier League, 5 Europa League and 5 Azerbaijan Cup matches.
