Gabala’s Javid Huseynov was a part of the Azerbaijan national football team’s starting line-up against Norway within the World Cup 2018 Qualifying round at the Ullevaal Stadium, Oslo. He held on for the full time that ended with 2:0 in the favour of Norway.

This was Huseynov’s 50th match for the national team and he scored two goals in the streak of all these games.
