Gabala hosted Open Tournament of Youth on Judo in the Gabala district. The contest was joined by 260 fighters from 10 districts, adding Baku and Sumgayit. The participants from 21 teams came on the canvas in 2 age groups.

The winners came out amongst youth born in 2002-2003 and 2004-2005. The first place was taken by the Gabala district team representing SC Gabala with 15 medals, including 3 golds, 3 silvers and 9 bronzes. The 2nd tier was squared by Sumgayit ahead of Zagatala.

It is worth to note the tournament was operated by referees with republic class.
