Gabala defeated Ravan 1:0 in the 15th tour away of the Topaz Premier League on Friday. Beating AZAL at the last game, Gabala pushed hard to keep the success going on and we did this. Making some rotations in the team, Yuri Semin kept the way. He tested Dodo on the midfielder position before the half-time where the Russian skipper introduced Assis to substitute Leonardo filled up his yellow card limitation.

Starting by low tempo, the course of the game went on mutual checkup attacks with the early 10 minutes. Then the things developed into warming up with Gabala as Subotic gave a good header Kamanan failed to convert in. Later on 19 minutes, Pekha shook the net on the top of the woodwork. Then Abdullayev surged forward to give a power to the ball Pietrzkievic denied clearly. And it was Gabala giving a clinical finish to their attacks by the opening goal. Firstly, Nizami shot perfectly with the edge of his foot that Sapela repeated the same way to deflect him to a corner. But the Poland keeper could not hold on after the right corner led to the follow-up shot from Ebecilio that was finished clinically by Kamanan. The 32nd minute gave the home side great save with the post denied Subotic exchanging the ball with Teymurov and Dodo. Four minutes later, Dodo"s superb missile swift a bit off the target. Gabala  evidently focused on attacks from the right during the first half.

We came on the second period with more careful and defending display and this prompted the rivals a bit to step up. But gradually, the show slowed down with Gabala keeping the control on the ball. Then the course of the game went into more tempo after Semin made couple of changes replacing Kamanan and Subotic with, respectively, Afolabi and  Mendy.

Ebecilio looked close to double Gabala"s lead in the 74th minute, 5 minutes before Rashad failing to beat David. With the closing stage, Sohib went ahead by a wrong-footed shot from a long position.

Now Gabala are sharing the top of the league table celebrating the 2nd win on the trot with one game plus.
