Gabala ended the Azerbaijan Premier League’s 20th tour away against Kapaz in 1:1. The red-black side of Roman Grigorchuk started faster but then the home side looked threatening with more minutes into the game. They gave some troubles to Dmytro Bezotosniy held on clear.

Then Nika Kvekveskiri set up Sergei Zenjov denied by the opponent defense. And Filip Ozobic’s pulsating shot was tipped by the host keeper. Kapaz opened the scoring with Shahriyar Rahimov.

Later on, Gabala’s Nika Kvekveskiri and Nijat Gurbanov of Kapaz were forced off with red cards for their aggressive behavior to each other.

After the team went down to ten, Gabala stepped up their inroads into the Kapaz defense. The home side’s keeper denied Ozobic for some more times.

It was Gabala restarting faster again and trying to gain momentum. We have leveled with Daniel Subotic forcing opponent Renan Silva to his own goal - 1:1.

In the six minutes left to the final whistle, Gabala could have gone one ahead but Subotic failed to touch Stankovic’s perfect header from a close position after a corner.

The result left Gabala extending their points to 43.
