Gabala”s Nizami Aliyev (67) and Rafael Aghayev (75) strike gold medals from the Open International Karate Tournament in Luxemburg joined by 20 countries. Azerbaijan”s national team was made up by challengers who will come on the canvas of the European Games to be held in Baku.

The provisional team”s total successful results included 5 golds, 1 silver and 1 bronze. The possession of the national squad took them up to the first place of the championship.

Aghayev was also rewarded with the title of Best Technical on the show.
