Gabala took 2:1 victory on Keshla in the 24th tour of the Azerbaijan Premier League. 

Davit Volkovi and James Adeniyi could have scored an early goal but their efforts passed wide. Both sides were unable to score in the half.

The second half started by an early goal by James Adeniyi coming one-on-one with the Keshla keeper after a good correspondence with Rauf Aliyev. It was his 9th goal over the season.

After the goal, Keshla pushed harder to level, but Gabala keeper Dmytro Bezotosniy held on clear denying Vusal Isgandarov. He gave another great save to his teammates deflecting Angelo Pena’s close-range shot.

Then James sent the ball to the box to find Davit Volkovi shot in – 2:0. Later on, Bezotosniy deflected Jonathan Ayite’s shot. Javid Huseynov could have put Gabala one more ahead but the opponent defense denied him. Keshla were able to score one only in the 76th minute.
