Gabala lost away to Keshla by 2:1 in the 9th tie of the season’s premier league.

The pace of the match started by an early goal from the home side scored in the 32nd second. Then Gabala, coached by Elmar Bakhshiyev, looked pushing harder to level. But Clesio Bauque, Asif Mammadov and Davit Volkov were unable to score on their chances. And the team from Baku doubled their lead before the half-time.

After the break, Davit Volkov and Ivitsa Junic went too close to scoring but their efforts were denied by the host keeper.

Gabala could break the deadlock in the 58th minute when Volkov scored: 2:1. Later on, the Georgian could have doubled his value but his effort was deflected by the post.

Then introduced substitute Ulvi Isgandarli went to close to leveling but saw his chance lost. Pulsating counterattack by the home side was denied by our keeper Anar Nazirov cancelling Tural Bayramly’s goal.
