Kokauri hit silverware

Gabala”s Ushangi Kokauri, fighting also for the Azerbaijan national judo team, has gained a silverware of the Grand Prix Championship in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
The +100 kg battled all the way trough from the round of 32 to the final match.
First, he beat Yuri Krakovetski (Kirghizstan) before winning over Christopher Sherrington (Great Britain) and Faicel Jaballah (Tunis).
The Gabala hero took a victory over Islam Al-Shabaab (Egypt) in the semifinal progressing into the final. The all-important challenge ended for the favour of Adam Okruashvili from Georgia.
