Kokauri winning gold medal in Casablanka

Gabala”s judoka Ushangi Kokauri, challenging for SC Gabala and Azerbaijan national team, struck a gold medal in the licensing tournament held in Casablanca, Morocco. The red-black hero, +100 kg, first beat locally-based Mustafa Abdellaouini to hit a tally to the semifinal where he won over also Stepan Sarkisyan from Russia. And in the all-important match, he beat Sedrik Medeuf from France. The result took him one step closer to the Rio-2016 championship.
 
Kokauri was the best part of the national team”s all successful experiences in the international contest also with 1 silver and 1 bronze.
