Gabala”s Fariz Mammadov, who is also the first ever professional boxer of Azerbaijan, is going to face Badru Lusambya from Uganda in the WBF and WBCA contest this Saturday. Mammadov talks to media reporters at the Boxing Center saying:
“This match is my passion of last 15 years. When I started to boxing, I targeted to hit this title. I appreciate both my personal manager and SC Gabala”s administrative board on managing this match. I will fight in my best to take the world championship belt of my dreams.
It is really proud to face a strong and promising opponent. I know he prepared well to the show but no doubt I will leave a good surprise to him off his dream. My preparation to the fight has been going on since August 2015. I have been trained by 2 Ukrainian trainers for 10 weeks of physical program and 6 weeks of boxing program. This is the all-important fight in my career”.
Lusambya also talked explaining his first visit to Azerbaijan where he targets to beat his opponent. Just to remind, the match will get underway at 7:00 P.M. AZT.
