Boxer Fariz Mammadov of Gabala, Azerbaijan is fighting for the tally to the Rio-de-Janeiro Olympics 2016. With 69 kg, he met with Andrey Zamkovoy in the 1/4 final of AIBA Proboxing tournament held at the Sarhadchi Olympic Sport Complex. 

Although holding on against the opponent with 187 cm height during the all 6 rounds, Mammadov finished with loss to the Russian fighter, who took the silver medal of the London Olympics 2012.

All the 3 referees gave the lead to Zamkovoy with 59:55, 58:56 and 58:56. On aggregate rule of rounds, Mammadov came out to be the better fighter in 2 parts as his opponent did in 4. 

It is worth to remember Zamkovoy as a silver medal winner of the World Cup 2009, as well as earner of gold medals of Russian Championship in 2010 and 2011.
