Gabala Sports Club”s judoka Mehman Sadygov earned his bronze for Azerbaijan at the European Cup in Kiev of Ukraine. This is the second achievement of Mehman, 60 kg, after he got gold from the Greece European Cup Juniors in last April, when he was in 55 kg.

Mehman is one of the 5 Gabala fighters amongst the all 20 members of the Azerbaijan provisional team. He fought for Gabala with Jalil Jalilov, Vasif Sharbatli, Mardan Gadirli and Dilavar Shirvanly. Mehman”s bronze is amongst only 3 medals of Azerbaijan as 60 kg Rashad Rufullayev gained his gold and 55 kg Davud Mammadov made silver.
