Gabala”s Ruhin Mikayilov, fighting for the Azerbaijan national wrestling team, has gained a bronze medal from the European U21 Wrestling Championship in Ruse, Bulgaria. With 71 kg, he won 2:0 over Daniel Mattias Soini from Swede in the round of 16 before defeating also Vasileios Mixakis from Greece 9:0.

Then in the semifinal, Mikayilov lost to Antonio Kamenjasevic from Croatia 5:7. But the Gabala hero made his last chance worked out to the bronze medal after beating Hungarian Pal Krisztian Kottes 8:0.
