Mirzabayov and Gurbanov are part of point for Azerbaijan against Czech

Gabala”s Mahammad Mirzabayov and Ruslan Gurbanov were a part of the starting lineup of the Azerbaijan national team against Czech in the Group C of the Qualifying Round for the World Cup 2018. The provisional team of the Middle Eastern country won a point with a goalless draw extending their points up to seven after beating San Marino and Norway by the same score of 1:0. The Gabala footballers were entrusted by head coach Robert Prosinecki to the match in Ostrava. Mirzabayev held on during the full time as Gurbanov was substituted in the 87th minute.
Now Azerbaijan are sitting second after three unbeaten matches.
Another Gabala footballer is Sergei Zenjov playing for hosts Estonia against Greece. He fielded in 90 minutes but his side lost to the opponents by 0:2.
