MMA FIGHTING SERIES is going into its 2nd contest at the Qafqaz Baku Sport Hotel tomorrow, Thursday. Being organized by the Gabala Sport Club and the Azerbaijan Fight Club, Azerbaijan Ministry of Youth and Sport and International MMA GEFC, the tournament gave its first pace with the weighting ceremony and press conference at the TT Fight Club.

The event was joined by the International MMA League president Elkhan Valiyev, CEO of the International Association of MMA Prime Fight Pro Oleksiy Yatsenko, International MMA League”s vice president Shahriyar Abbasov and Gabala”s fighting sports coordinator Sabuhi Garayev.

The ceremony held a minutes silence in respect of the victims who died during the recent days of the fights against the Armenian aggression in Garabagh.

Then the senior officials answered to the media questions.

It is worth to remind that the championship are joined also by challengers from Russia, Iran, Ukraine and Georgia in 15 weight classes.

Gabala are the part of the contest with its 3 heroes. Fuad Musayev, 66 kg, will face Narbala Atakishiyev from the Shamkir Fighting Club while Nariman Abbasov, 70 kg, is going to come on against Said Lobati of Caspian Tigers from Iran. And Huseyn Aliyev, 77, will meet Ukrainian Maksim Shilo from the Spartak Fighting Club.

MMA FIGHTING SERIES – 2 will be broadcast by the CBC Sport TV of Azerbaijan and Боец TV of Russia.
