The next guest of the Veterans Heading is former player, current selection head of the Gabala Football Academy Boyukagha Aghayev. He was born on 15 January 1948 in Baku and build up his football career mostly as a coach. Yet in the Soviet time, the specialist worked for some many teams as an assistant coach. He assisted as a skipper even for Neftchi during that period before starting as a head coach after Azerbaijan regained its independency.

As the football in Azerbaijan developed into its free activity in 1992, Aghayev kept his career as an assistant coach for different clubs, as well as for the first provisional team of Azerbaijan, where he helped Aghasalim Mirjavadov.
