Nabiyev scored in victory for national U17

UEFA U17 League campaign got underway in Baku with its 3rd tour of the final round.
The Azerbaijan national team in the A group beat Scotland 1:0 after defeating to Portugal (0:5) and Belgium (1:1). The only goal of the show was scored by Gabala”s Farid Nabiyev in the 79th minute.
But the victory was not enough to earn a tally to the round of 8. So the red-black side ended with the championship at the 3rd place of the group with 4 points.
Farid is the only footballer from Gabala coming on the all 3 matches in the line-up. He was replaced in the 78th minute of the first game before holding on during full times of the other 2 events.
Another Gabala hero other than Nabiyev performing against Scotland is Murad Popov appearing minute after one of the provisional team keepers was injured. He could stay clear during the further 80 minutes.
