Gabala have won 8:0 over Neftchi in the 4th tour of the Azerbaijan Premier League today. The away match started by mutual attacks and the red-black side of Roman Grigorchuk made some threats on the other end. This led to an early opener by Bagali Dabo after converting the ball in from Asif Mammadov in the 5th minute.
Shortly after the first goal, Mammadov set up his another teammate Vitaliy Vernydub headed in the 2nd goal.
On 16 minutes, Dabo sealed in his double for Gabala scoring the 3rd after a superb pass again from Asif. After the goal, Neftchi looked trying for some occasions but they were unable to set up any trouble to Dmytro Bezotosnyi. Then Bagali failed on his chance of hat-trick two times. The visitors scored two more with Filip Ozobic converting a superior pass from Mahammad Mirzabayov into the goal before Croatian assisted Ruslan Gurbanov to hit his debut for Gabala.
The clean-sheet lead with 5 goals settled the things well before, just ahead of the half-time.
After the restart, Dabo reached Gabala”s lead to the 6th goal clinically finishing an inch-perfect pass from Elvin Jamalov cutting through the Neftchi defense. Bagali, who is the first league season player with hat-trick was changed by more minutes into the game. Neftchi were disappointed again this time with own goal by Jairo Rodrigues as Nika Kvekveskiri”s corner kick could not found Vojislav Stankovic before the ball was deflected in by the opponent footballer.
