The first 2014 match against Sumgayit appears to be remarkable for Luis Hilario. Brazilian Dodo came on his 80th league match to follow only 3 Gabala players -- Dorosev (90 events), Abdulkader Kamara (83), Lubo Baranin (82) -- with the same amount of games. Another unforgettable point about him is his first captain experience for Gabala at the Premier League after his cup game with the position. Right after the Sunday match, Dodo talks to gabalafc.az:

"It is already my 3rd year with Gabala. I lived in our both happy and sad days with superb wins and unexpected defeats. I never regretted or tired of playing for Gabala. I always saw support from the administrative board and love by fan crowd. I mean I took pleasure from all the past 80 games. Although I received some many offers from different clubs during this period, I do not think to leave Gabala at all. Unfortunately, I have been unable to seal a remarkable success for Gabala. But this season we are very close to the target and I am convinced we will be able to reach them.

The Sunday match against Sumgayit was my first experience as a captain. It was really responsible task for me in league. My thanks to head coach Yuri Semin trusting me on the captain bandage. I will try and respond well to the trust".
