Another new comer is Ibrahim Bakir who is a young specialist in coaching and will act as an assistant coach for Gabala. Before Gabala, he had coached for Samsunspor with Ertugrul Saglam, and also for Kayserispor where the Turkish trainer had earned access to European cup games. After the successful Kayserispor career, the coaching staff, in where he acted too, signed a contract with Besiktas and finished the season at the third tier. After Besiktas, the coach staff joined Bursaspor where they secured triumph firstly in Turkey with a team adding to another four clubs.

Starting two days with Gabala, Bakir shares his preliminary impressions about joining us with gabalafc.az: “I did have some information on Azerbaijan’s football before coming to Gabala. My friends here had given me broad details about the country. 

But about Gabala, it was appeared for me after Fatih Kavlak had joined this club. He talked to me about the club, as well as future plans, targets, facilities and youth policy. All these fascinated me. The Azerbaijan cup is developing day-by-day despite small number of people and clubs. Now I see this proved for me after observing the skills of Gabala footballers. 

I did watch some matches of Gabala before and like the team. There are accomplished footballers in the staff”.

And about Gabala’s facilities: 

“I liked the sources and fields much here. All these make to think everything will be better and better. I’m convinced to be able to play a vital role in Gabala’s development in future towards the targets adding my own bests to the team.
