Gabala first team”s Antalya training camp is joined also by 5 young player of the club”s football academy. One of them is Elnur Mustafazadeh who is arrived to be the youngest footballer in the history of the club in his 20. The midfielder took his debut for the first team on 29 April 2012 when he faced Baku (4:0) as a substitute to replace Dodo in the 73rd minute.
“After my early games for Gabala during the time with head coach Fatih Kavlak, I stayed off the team for a long time. But I kept up my efforts for joining the squad again as a player for the reserve team and U19. I was convinced to come back to the team again”, said Mustafazadeh adding:
“It depends on me to hold on with the first team. If I can strike better show, I could stay with the squad for more. I will try and work hard in my best. I feel easy in the staff and feel no difficulties as I know some players from the academy. New head coach Grigorchuk pays much attention for young players and works on our mistakes”.
It is worth to notice Elnur scored 3 in his 8 appearances during the half of the reserves league season.
