Fighting for Azerbaijan in the international judo arena, FC Gabala judokas are returning back to the country with medals from Thessaloniki, Greece. European Cup Cadets from Azerbaijan Mehman Sadygov and Jalil Jalilov well responded to hopes.

Mehman, 55 kg, has gained a gold beating his all opponents, as well as Georgi Sachaleli from Georgia in final. And defeating to Georgian Andro Beluashvili in final, 66-kg Jalil earned a silver. Another Gabala judoka is Dilavar Shirvanly going to fight in 90 kg today. There are two more medals of Azerbaijan by Telman Valiyev (60 kg) and Afig Safarli (73 kg) with bronzes. 

It is worth to remind that, FC Gabala”s judoka Farida Hasankhanova, 57 kg, hit a bronze at the EJU European Cup in Kiev of Ukraine a few days ago.
