Head coach Roman Grigorchuk adds Sergey Zenyov from Estonia to his summer transfers - Andrey Popovic, Mahammad Mirzabayov, Arif Dashdamirov, Asif Mammadov, Samir Zargarov and Vitali Vernidub - ahead of the 2015/16 season. The overseas footballer playing for the Estonia national team stuck a 2-year deal with Gabala during the Erzurum training camp in Turkey.

Just before joining the red-black squad, the 26-year-old forward played for Torpedo Moscow of Russia since early 2015. He also played for his domestic Pyarnu (2006) and TFMK (2006-08), Karpaty of Ukraine (2008/14), Blackpool of England (2014)

He has been turning up also in 45 matches for Estonia”s provisional team to score 11 goals, including double in the qualifying round win over San-Marino (2:0) within the EURO 2016 championship on June 14.

Zeynov shares his first impression in Gabala talking to gabalafc.az:

“I am taking a new go in my career joining Gabala, which targets European cup games. I searched Gabala in the internet to have some details about the location and facilities. There are some players I met as opponents before just like Gai, Vernidub and Bezotosny. I will play in my best to be a part of Gabala”s future successes."
