Gabala”s head coach Roman Grigorchuk talks right after the 1:0 victory over Kapaz in the 3rd tour match of the Topaz Premier League. The Ukrainian kipper says:

“Gabala were trying to progress from defense to attacks. But it did not worked out technically. We introduced some substitutes who are not playing in the Eurocup matches.

We need to give break to Stankovic and chance to Vitali Vernidub, or to provide this pair to perform together. But just one game can”t help them understanding each other on the pitch. And they did not need to play together in this game as Kapaz play quite differently. As I know both of them well, it was better they not to play both, we need to give rest to one of them.

And following the UEFA EL play-off match against Panathinaikos on 27 August, let”s change hopes to beliefs talking about this event. It is really hard to go ahead without believing. Our confidence worked out well up to now and currently we need to keep going more. In the first game, the opponents prevented us from playing in our best. But now the all-important is to take the victory and we must to push harder if we are to stay for a chance of progressing to the next stage. Just take into account that we set up the present team 2 months ago as Panathinaikos is having a squad that was formed many years ago”.
