Our team showed a great resilience, Gurbanov says

Gabala coach Sanan Gurbanov talks to mmedia reporters for a post-match reaction right after the 1:1 away match against Neftchi in the Azerbaijan Premier League’s 21st tour. The 39-year-old skipper says:

“We expected it to be a hard match against Neftchi. The half run out of our best as we lost the ball at times. After the restart, we removed some mistakes. We informed the team about poor points in Neftchi’s playing style. Our team showed a great resilience and leveled after going one goal behind. Gabala kept up struggling until the final whistle. We will try and drive best benefits from both league and cup matches ahead.

Elvin Jamalov was changed because of his little injury. He and substitute Sabien Lilaj shoed performed a good affect.

We got confused as our footballers were not called for the national team. Anyway this was the head coach’s decision for the match against Croatia. I think our all footballers fit to the provisional squad. I expected Rauf Aliyev and Bahlul Mustafazadeh to be called. But I still believe our footballers will be involved for the further events. Vojislav Stankovic is back to team trainings recovering from his injury.
