Gabala U12 came on the second match in the group stage of the Young Talents-2012 international tournament in Saint Petersburg. Our team of kids faced Shtik from Latvia.

Gabala started well and kept it up to the end with quick pressures. But the deadlock was not opened even on our some real occasions. Among the Gabala young talents, Tabriz Isazadeh and Samir Gurbanov, forwards, were inches from scoring when they were denied by the post two times and with more off-target efforts.

The game ended in goalless peace and the squad of Ulfat Mammadov earned their 4th point, just behind Zenit of Russia staying on top with 6 points. Now our young players are ahead of the two match-ups against Strogino and Zenit to come on Saturday.
