Gabala’s Asif Mammadov talks to gabalafc.az about the preseason training proceedings and the first trial match of the Slovenia training camp. The midfielder says:

“The training process is going well. After physical training in Gabala, we are taking on ball exercises more in Slovenia. We have to work harder on us as some changes in the staff and in case of the time is short ahead of the season start.

The first tie against Kukasi was not performance in our best. We have working with Sanan Gurbanov for a long time and know him well. He works on himself and has a great experience from professional coaches. All the Gabala staff believe in him and we have to support him to hit the targets.

There is no a serious difference between five opponent sides of the UEFA EL as there is no a weak side in the continental tournament. Both Gabala and Progres will come on their first professional match after the summer break and the tie is going to be a tough mission for the sides. The chances are staying 50-to-50 now but we are having more EL experiences. We will be all for forcing out the Luxemburg side”.
