Gabala football in the community with AFFA will be running a regional Coca Cola schools football Tournament here in Gabala.  The Tournament aims to take place 2012 over the months of February, March and April.  This tournament will be the second time that Gabala FITC has participated in an AFFA tournament.  This tournament is for boys and girls from across the Gabala region from Vandam through to Udin who are in class 7.  The games will be played on the superb facilities here at the Gabala Football Stadium.  Joe Doyle the Head of the Gabala FITC said “This will be a great experience for the boys and girls of Gabala to play on the same pitch as our famous Gabala football players.  It will also be a great opportunity for them to show us their skills”. 

From all the schools who take part in this tournament the last two teams will play their final before one of Gabala’s league games.  And the winner of the final here in Gabala will then go on to represent the Gabala region in AFFA’s national tournament which will take place in Baku.
