Gabala”s karateist Rafael Aghayev has gained one more gold medal for Azerbaijan from 2013 World Combat Games in Saint Petersburg. The Gabala hero beat fighters from Egypt, Holland and USA at the first stage before defeating German karateist by 4:0 in the semifinal. Rafael bitterly disappointed Italian Luigi Bus, who was of the most promising fighters in 75 kg, by punishing 7:1 victory in the final. Now Aghayev is a champion karateist of the first World Combat Games.

It is worth to remember the earlier gold earned by our another hero other than Rafael at the tournament, and he is Shahin Atamov.
