Reserve league. Gabala-Sumgait 2-1

Gabala substitutes won Sumgayit 2:1 in the Reserve League 11th tour at home. The hosts started faster but the scoring was opened by Sumgayit with Bayramali Nuruzadeh. They were able to keep the lead only for 4 minutes until Gabala"s feed back in the 14th minute to level with Ehtiram Shahverdiyev.

It was Gabala again taking the better pace after the restart. The squad of Luis Aragon held the opponents under sustained period of pressure and scored the all-important goal of the show in the 68th minute when Shahverdiyev made his double- 2:1.
