Reserves League, Gabala 3-1 Sumgayit

Gabala reached up to the top of the Reserves League table beating Sumgayit in the 9th tour at home. After the last 2 winless games, the red-black side are breaking the deadlock in the match against the outsider. The team of Luis Aragon, having no draws in the 1st Round, took their 6th victory by 3 goals.

In the half, it was difficult to break the opponent defense, but the home side”s efforts led to the opener just before the break.

It was Gabala scoring again in early minutes into the second period to make sure their lead. The only goal our substitutes allowed in the show was scored from the spot. And 3 minutes later, Elnur Mustafazadeh of Gabala shot in the winner by 3:1.

The result of the 1st Round left Gabala with 18 points to kick the first stage on the league table with 6 victories and 3 losses having no draws. The team are expected to start to the 2nd Round with outing against Araz-Nakhchivan to be held on Tuesday.
