SC Gabala has ended its deal with defender Urfan Abbasov. The 27-year-old came on a debut match for the red-black team since the season of 2011/2012. He appeared in 220 games for Gabala including 177 domestic league matches (3 goals), 28 cup and fifteen Europa League games. He won five league medals, including two silverwares (2016/17,  and 2017/18) and three bronze medals (2013/14, 2014/15, 2015/16) for Gabala. He lifted up the Azerbaijan Cup trophy in the season of 2018/19 after three cup final experiences in 2013/14, 2016/17 and 2017/18.
