Second medal in Germany

SC Gabala”s Majid Sofiyev, challenging for the Azerbaijan national taekwondo team, has earned a silver medal from the DTF Presidents Cup of the European Taekwondo Union held in Bonn, Germany. The Gabala hero, 54 kg, lost only the all-important match of the G2 class contest.
This is the 2nd achievement of the club in the international tournament after Mahammad Mammadov, 63 kg, also hit his silverware in the first-leg match of the championship.
