Gabala”s former players from Serbia Branimir Subasic and Milan Antic talk to gabalafc.az about the 2nd Qualifying Round match of the European League against Cukarcki.

Playing for Gabala during the
2010/11 season, Subasic scored 2 in his all 21 appearances. He played also for the Azerbaijan national team and now says:

“I am really happy to see my former team Gabala here in Serbia. They will play against Cukaricki which is located very close to me place. They gained progress into a high level in recent years. They sit 2nd or 3rd in Serbia for their opportunities. As the Azerbaijan Premier League starts in early August, it is going to get underway right this week. So they can be me more ready to the game.

But I know well my former team and think they can win the home event to hit the next round”.

Playing for Gabala in the 2009/10 and 2010/11 seasons, Antic scored 6 in his 58 matches and now says:
“It is going to be a difficlut challenge between both sides as they are of bests in their own countries. Gabala need to score at least one in Serbia if they are stand to develop into the next round. I will watch for my former club and think they can strike the tally to the next round”.
