Challenging for the Azerbaijan national team, he hit a tally to the semifinal where he is going to face Arlen Lopez from Kuba at 10:00 P.M. AZT,on Thursday.

With this win in his third leg, he hit the first medal of both Azerbaijan national team and SC Gabala.

It is worth to remember that Shahsuvarly won olso over Zao Minggang (China) in his first tie and Artyom Chebotaryov (Russia) in the round of 16.
