Gabala”s Vugar Shirinli has hit a gold medal of the African Judo Championship in Tunis. As a part of the Azerbaijan national team in 60 kg, he won over Geyt Salman (Jordan), Eisha Majrash (Saudi Arabia), Joshua Katz (Australia) and Matiaj Trbovc (Slovenia) before beating Sedrik Revol (France) in the all-important match.

Another Gabala hero other than Shirinli is Jalil Shukurov going to come on the canvas in 100 kg.
