Shirinli won gold medal in Argentina

Gabala judokas Vugar Shirinli and Aisha Gurbanly highlighted the red-black club at the Pan American Open Championship held in Buenos-Aires, Argentina fighting for the Azerbaijan national team.
At the tournament joined by 288 challengers from 60 countries, Shirinli, 60 kg, won over Serjio Pessoa from Canada to hit the first gold for the team.
Gurbanly, 48 kg, took the 5th place in the women”s contest beating Kimberly Renick from Great Britain and Edna Carrillo from Mexico to hit tally to semifinal. But she lost to Russian Kristina Rumyantseva before defeating also to Aurora Climens from France.
