Subotic signs for Gabala again

Gabala adds  Daniel Subotic to the winter transfers after midfielder Araz Abdullayev and defender Rasim Ramaldanov. The 28-year-old forward has made a half-year deal with his former club after a 2.5 year break. The Swiss footballer had played for the red-black team during the 2013-2014 season scoring twenty nine in twelve Azerbaijan Premier League appearances and one in domestic cup game. He could hit a league bronze and cup final. Originally Bosnia and Herzegovinian, struck a title of the best premier league footballer 2013 in December. 

Built up by FC Basel (Switzerland), Subotic gave a start to his professional football in England during 2008-2010 belonging to Portsmut, when he was on leas for Zulte-Waregem of Belgium (2008-2009) and Italy’s Grosseto S.S.D. (2010).

He played also for Romania’s Universitatea Craiova (2011) and Targu Mures (2011-2012) before joining up with Volyn Lutsk of Ukraine during 2012-2013. Then in 2013-2014, the forward left to Kuwait to play for Al-Qadisiyah during 2014-2015. He spent his last 1.5 year for FC Sheriff (Moldova) since 2015 and hit the title of best scorer of the Moldova Premier League 2015/2016. 

Subotic fielded also for the Switzerland national U19 team during the 2007-2008.
