Gabala faced Sumgayit in 2:2 witin the 9th tour of the Azerbaijan Premier League. The first threat on the show made by the home side finished in an opener with Shahriyar Aliyev. Going more into the first period, Gabala conceded the second goal after Aliyev scored in his double. Gabala’s James Adeniyi set up Steeven Monroze scored the first goal for his team – 1:2.
After the restart, Gabala coach Sanan Gurbanov introduced Ilgar Gurbanov and Bahlul Mustafazadeh. The visiting side seemed pushing harder led to a great pass by Monroze to Lalavele Atakora finished clinically – 2:2.
