Taekwondo challengers hitting 12 medals

Gabala have gained 12 medals from the Taekwondo Youth and Cadet Championship held in Goychay, Azerbaijan. Sabuhi Ismayilov”s team of 19 heroes were a part of all 150 challengers from 10 clubs.
With cadets, Saleh Mammadov (27 kg) and Elvin Ahmadov (33 kg) hit gold medals while Kanan Jafar (27 kg) and Elnur Azizov (33 kg) earned silverwares. Ulvi Musayevla (25 kg) and Aqil Rashidov (21 kg) ended 3rd.
Following the taekwondo youth contest, Narmin Shirinova (37 kg) came out as the best fighter as Gudrat Jafarov (33 kg) finished 2nd. Ravil Kishmishov (41 kg), Elchin Ahmadov (41 kg) and Ginyaz Karimov (49 kg) struck bronze medals.
