Gabala”s boxer Mahammad Tahirov ground out a notable result from Golden Gloves tournament in Serbia. He gained a silver medal fighting against Russian Viktor Orekov in the final match with a super heavyweight (+91).
In his first-step match, he beat Polish Milos Vodecki before punishing Armenian Gnel Mutradyan in the semifinal. Tahirov gave no chance to the latter boxer and took the victory over him with a great lead.
Just to remember, Gabala”s hero fought amongst more than 200 boxers from 32 states.
