Gabala’s Filip Ozobic talks to gabalafc.az sharing his feelings about the last 2:0 win on AZAL in the 17th tour of the Azerbaijan Premier League, whe he was a great part of the victory.
“There is no an easy match. And the match against AZAL also in not exception. It was a difficult and tough mission, just like other tie. Although the opponent side are sitting at the last stage of the league table, they showed really good display. I think we lacked a good finish on our attacks. But there are some many players with master skills in our team. This came out as an evidence after we scored two goals.”
Ozobic is the only leader of the top scorers list with nine goals for Gabala and hit his only double for the squad. He gained this 1,004 days after he scored two goals for his native Croatia’s Slaven. Ozobic thinks not about becoming a top scorer and he is focused on the upcoming match, as he says:
“I well remember my last debut for Slaven. But this time the more important was not scoring two goals, but taking the victory. I don’t want to talk about double, becoming a champion or top scorer. Because we are focused on the upcoming game and we are targeting to take this over Zira, too. The mission forward is the next three points”.
