Gabala captain Javid Huseynov talks to gabalafc.az about the Slovenia training camp. The midfielder, joining back the team since June 27 after his injury, says:

“I got back to the squad a bit late because of my injury. The team are having great spirits now and you can see warm mood between the footballers. There are close attitudes between the players and head coach that backs on professional experiences. Sanan Gurbanov had come on some matches as a head coach before. I believe he will be able to keep his job for a long time and guide Gabala to more successes. 

The training proceedings are going well and the team are working hard. We are expected by the UEFA EL matches where we want to hit good results.

I passed over the most of my treatment period and will get back to the team work. And it’s still not clear if I will be able to play against Progres in the first tie of the UEFA EL’s qualifying round. The head coach will make the decision which I’m convinced that will be the better one to the squad.

We have analyzed the opponent side deeply and they are really a strong team. And Gabala are preparing well to the game. The more important for us is a good result. We have to look at the opponents as a stronger side if we are standing for the victory”.
