Ruslan Gurbanov talks to gabalafc.az after scoring the all-important goal against Kapaz to take the fourteenth tour match of the Azerbaijan Premier League with 2:1. Sealing in the winner in the 83rd minute, Gurbanov ended witht the last league event of the season's half. He says:

“It is always difficult to play against a side backing on defensive display. But this is not about Kapaz as they get back to the defensive line or set up attack in proper time. They could gave some many troubles against us. This team is a very strong side and this made the game tough. We responded well to head coach Roman Grigorchuk’s tasks and earned three points.

Following my penalty effort, actually every player of our team can do this job. Filip Ozobic had been determined to have a penalty in this game and he had scored in the first effort. But as he was changed later, I kicked the second penalty. I believed in myself and shot accurately. The result could have been higher but we still have to work on some shortages. Now we have to focus on the upcoming cup match against AZAL.”
