Gabala coach Sanan Gurbanov talks for a post-match reaction right after the 2:0 home loss to Sumgayit in the season’s first league tie. The 39-year-old skipper says:

If I say we played well and set up good occasions, it won’t be understood well. But we kept the control over the game. Anyway, the attacks were not effective. But it’s a good fact that I saw some good results of the preparations.

This is still the first tie and we have to look ahead for better preparations and results. The down feel is that, the result seems beyond the game. But we will try and pull out our footballers from this condition as there are still many matches ahead. We have a problem with ending shots in the box and we will be all to clear up this.

Christian Kouakou was got injured as Ulvi Isgandarov stays alone in the forward. We believe in him as a young forward. Injured Anar Nazirov and being punished Asif Mammadov also are valuable players for us and they seem as a lack in the team today”.
