Gabala coach Elmar Bakhshiyev talks for a post-match reaction right after the 2:0 loss to Neftchi in the 18th tour of the Azerbaijan Premier League. The 40-year-old skipper says:

“Neftchi are one of the strongest league sides. My team made me satisfied as they kept up challenging. While the last three matches were poor performances, today we showed resilience. There are some positive moments in the last games, but the defensive plan is still going with some failures. We added Idris Ingilably and Sadig Guliyev to fix up the defense. The football in Azerbaijan can find Ingilably as a good player if he earns ongoing chances on the pitch.

We had footballers that all were useful and settled in the teamwork. The team was affected not well after they left us.

Nicolas Rajsel was injured and stayed off the pitch today. Abdelrafik Jerar still needs to have more practice as he was off the pitch for some period.

We still can’t find our best form as the new footballers joined us late.”
